For the Blogging Challenge, Challenge Two, Activity Three, I have to write about a Tourist Attraction in five different places. So here goes.
California - You should visit the 'Disney California Adventure Park.' It is undergoing some big changes that let you enjoy all your favourite Disney characters. It also has a 'Hollywood Pictures Backlot,' 'Golden State,' 'Paradise Pier' and 'A Bug's Land.' See all these and more!!
Washington - You should visit none other than the White House. Yes, THE White House. The one and only WHITE HOUSE!! The White House has been a home for every president and their families for the past 200 years. There are 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, and 6 levels in the Residence....

How To Make an Avatar
Posted by Kayla | at 7:18 pm | 0 commentsFirst, I went on to Portrait Illustration Maker. Choose what hair, accessories etc you want. Click the button underneath your avatar, that says download. A little box will pop up on the screen. Do you want to run, open or save the file. Save it onto the desktop, named as 'Kayla's Avatar,' or 'Ryan's Avatar.' eg. Then go onto your dashboard and click on 'edit profile picture,' choose to browse and find your avatar. If you want it on your blog, go into design, add gadget, picture, then browse and add it the same way you added it onto the profile picture. Thank you for reading and I hope I taught you a thing or two. http://studentchallenge.edublogs.org/2011/09/11/challenge-1-all-abou...

GO ALL BLACKS!!!
Posted by Kayla | at 9:37 pm | 1 commentsI am a true Kiwi. And so into the Rugby World Cup. Especially because All Blacks are best team in the World!! If I was a Namibian, I don't know if I would be so interested!! I'm looking forward to the game this Sunday, NZ vs Canada. I have predicted that NZ will win 66 - 22. Well, hopefully, Canada won't get any tries and we'll get in the 300s, but I don't think that will happen!! At Otewa School, we have really been getting into Rugby World Cup spirit. Before the important games, we do our picks. And one Friday, we all wore black and white and played rugby based games. Rugby relays, rugby netball and ripper rugby. We've made a huge sign that goes on our fence. There are ten corrugated...

My Avatar
Posted by Kayla | at 5:06 pm | 1 comments
I have been taking part in the Blogger Challenge. Activity three in Challenge one was creating an avatar. Firstly Anna - my new blogging partner - and I looked at all the Avatar Makers. We both decided on Portrait Illustration Maker. Just mucking around, we looked at all the choices of hair, eyes etc. After about half an hour, we had both finished and were happy with them. My avatar has short hair like a boy - I recently got mine cut to about that length - blue eyes, like mine - only, a little darker because light blue looked a wee bit scary!! She wears a blue jersey and is standing in the snow. Even though I've never had a proper play in the snow, I would love to. She has a small...

Rusty The Goat!!
Posted by Kayla | at 8:18 pm | 2 commentsAbout three weeks ago, we got two boy goat. My sister, Emma and I will be taking them to Pet Day in October. My goat is called Rusty and Emma's is P.J.. They're both white and their backs are about up to our knees. Rusty is a real hair eater!! Whenever he gets the chance, gobble, gobble. gobble!! He has also started to eat grass, camelia, flax leaves and anything else he can get his mouth on. The other day, I tried to lead him and was very successful. He followed on behind me, climbed onto the barbeque table and when I took his lead off and ran, he spriiiiinted after me. I was spurred on with his progress and hope he carries on like it. P.J. wasn't as good but Mum said they'd have on-off days....
